What a wonderful gathering of vampires and their prey Thursday night! Thank you all for all your sweets, treats and disguises. The music by Larry was superb, the multi-colored light globes were a delightful accent to the ghoulish evening. Thanks to Marsha for her trunk load of decorations that sparkled and twinkled with the beat of the music.

And did I mention the food? How many pounds of ginger does it take to make a cup of ginger juice in Lea's spice cake? It was fabulous. Don't forget the eye ball eggs, venison, bloodless punch, candy corns, wine and blood orange soda. The brownies were chocolately chewy and the vegetables wonderful for the non-vampire dancers.

Oh, and the dancing, was oh, so much fun with everyone in costume. Susan was "dead" on her feet, though quite lively, after driving from Sebastopol, CA. Thank you to newcomer, Iowa, who lives in Virgina, wearing a pink wool dress and horn-rimmed glasses, taking notes for her news column. I heard her scream (in delight?) (horror?) when her dance partner covered her with his cloak and secretly set her on fire with his teeth.

Need I say more?

Don't miss this opportunity next year! The place was teaming with vampires.
